The stage is set for senior Kolton Bell to pursue his interest in musical theatre, according to his mother Melissa Bell.

“Kolten has been in Beloit schools his whole life,” Melissa says, noting that she was born and raised in Beloit. “What I loved most about raising my kids in Beloit is how diverse the community is.”

Connie Leisher knew early on that her son, Ben, was advanced for his age. “I had a teacher tell me when he was 2 years old that he was very advanced,” she said.

The three Gifted & Talented Program teachers work with all the teachers at all the schools in the Beloit school district. We want to challenge kids at every level.

Lasting memories and impressions that will last a lifetime. Both are a part of what Beloit Memorial High School senior John Marks plans to carry away with him – along with his diploma -- when he walks across the stage at his upcoming graduation and into the future.

“John is our second child to graduate from Beloit Memorial High School,” says Gretchen Marks who says she and her husband John Sr. are together exceedingly pleased and proud. “Our daughter, Alexandra, graduated in 2010 and had a wonderful and memorable four years also.”
